Biography:

I am passionate about studying the dynamic intersection of public health and the environment. I received my MPH in Environmental Health Sciences and Industrial Hygiene at UC Berkeley and have worked in the Environmental Health field for over 8 years. In my work at Cal EPA, I research how biomonitoring can be used to support community-driven air pollution reduction in highly resilient communities that are heavily impacted by air pollution. I strive to build upon the efforts of those that came before me to achieve equitable and healthy communities, while considering how we can tread lighter on this planet that sustains us.
